Meet Phaedra Studt
Phaedra always had a knack for keeping things uncluttered and tidy from a young age.
Growing up, she would often organize incoming bills, rearrange piles of paperwork, and throw out old magazines, much to her mother's chagrin. Working a job during the day, producing and performing in performing arts productions at night, and maintaining a relationship and household, Phaedra discovered that the only way to thrive is to keep all her belongings tidy and organized.
After being pigeon-holed into administrative job after administrative job, Phaedra looked for an alternate career. Realizing that applying to another corporate job was the exact definition of insanity (doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result), she searched for other ideas. Based on her past experience in both the corporate and performing arts worlds, she knew she had a strong organizational skill set. From there she decided to share her skills with creative people who were stuck in similar dilemmas: working traditional jobs to make ends meet while balancing the many areas of their home life. Practical Possibilities established its LLC in January of 2019.
Phaedra’s background allows her to approach organizing from a non-judgmental, reality-based viewpoint. She seeks practical solutions to tame clutter and encourages those she helps to let go of the possessions that don't make a positive contribution to their lives. Phaedra calls Chicago her home. She is married and is owned by a cat named Hyperspace.
